Our Services

An individual tailored package of support will be created for each service user. This support package will include three mentors who will support him/her through their journey and who will also be available whenever the service user needs advice, guidance or simply a compassionate ‘listening ear.’ There will also drugs counsellors, trained to safely help with the reduction of drug use.

Each service user will be given the opportunity to work with trained counsellors. At Spinney Hill we recognise that many addicts use drugs and alcohol to deal with current trauma as well as past trauma. Service users will have access to trained counsellors who they can meet each week and who will help work them through issues that they are dealing with.

All clients and service users will have access to a spiritual mentor who will advise on how an individual can develop spiritually in order to overcome their addictions. The spiritual mentor will be available for an initial consultation and then for advice and guidance over the phone as and when it is required. The spiritual mentor will create a tailor made package of support that will include prayers and meditation exercises, mindfulness techniques and Spiritual advice to help increase the addict’s resolve and ability to overcome cravings.

A large part of our work involves engaging the local community and working across the board with both local and national partners, partner agencies and voluntary groups. We also deliver workshops addressing drug prevention in venues such as places of worship, community centres, Islamic schools and madrasahs.
