Description:

Ecstasy comes in pill form.
Ecstasy is a STIMULANT and an HALLUCINOGEN.
It’s use is associated with the dance music scene.
Ecstasy has been referred to as the ‘love drug’ as users often feel very ‘close’ to each other.
Users may hear music differently or see things differently.

Effects and Risks:

Users often feel a euphoric ‘rush’ followed by a period of calm happiness.
Ecstasy use with prolonged dancing can lead to heat stroke, collapse and death.
Drinking too much water to combat heatstroke induced by ecstasy can also cause death.
Users often experience depression and moodiness in the days following use.
Some people are very sensitive to Ecstasy and can die after a small dose.
Ecstasy is not PHYSICALLY addictive, though heavy users may become PSYCHOLOGICALLY dependant on it.
